NEW!! Workshop Series

Creating From The Core

A Yoga, Painting and Drawing Experience

Yoga means union. This workshop is designed to further the participant’s authentic exploration through breath, movement and guided visualizations. We will focus on the crevices within through the process of painting. Each of us embodies a strong creative ability. Through breath, we access present time where we find our vital power and our unifying core of creativity. In a safe, nurturing environment, Lauren facilitates the painting and drawing process from a place of non-judgment, spontaneity and play. No materials necessary, just bring yourself. This workshop is perfect for those wanting to explore the connection between body, mind and spirit.

Each of us possesses a strong creative ability. Life is a process of creation and discovery. Color, line and metaphor provide a subtle language that we can access at any time. Our souls speak to us in imagery and through symbolism in dreams, in our daily lives, and through the act of spontaneous image making.

Through demos, and process we will explore mark-making, paint, collage, wax, and handmade gesso. This is an excellent workshop for those seeking to expand their art practice and stimulate their hidden muse.
